In English this week we have been following instructions to make a origami bookmark. Mrs Archer played a video clip of how to make it and the class followed along to make their own. The children did very well and all decorated their  bookmarks. 

In Maths we have been looking at arrays. The children really enjoyed being outside and using hoops and cones to make their own arrays. This practical lesson really helped the children to see what arrays are and how to make their own. 

In Science we have been looking at what makes plants grow and how we look after them. We have also been planting our own cress seeds to make cress heads. Each day we will be completing our cress diaries to record our findings. We will be using our cress to add to some coleslaw next week in technology.
