Sketching flowers
Today we spent time practicing our drawing skills. We followed a video to practice in our sketch books and we drew them up in best on Spring coloured paper.
I think you will agree...we did an amazing job and our drawings have really improved!

Dermot O'Leary
Today we have the pleasure of attending a zoom meeting with Dermot O'Leary to talk about his new book 'Toto and the Ninja Cat and the Legend of the Wildcat'. The children listened as Dermot talked about his new book and then got the chance to follow along with the illustrator and draw Toto! Have a look at some of their amazing drawings below.
World Book Day
We celebrated WBD as a class.
We dressed up as our favourite characters, we did a scavenger hunt, designed our own book front cover and title and designed our own book token.
We had the best day celebrating reading!

'Twosday'
Today we spent the afternoon learning all about the number two.
We learnt the homophone to, two and too.
We followed instructions to make fortune tellers and sang 2 times table songs.
We made hats and challenged ourselves to complete as many of a given task in 2 minutes. How many star jumps can you do in 2 minutes?
