Boys Football SCS Tournament

On Monday 10th October White Court took part in the SCS Football tournament at Lyons Hall. It was a great opportunity for boys selected to get plenty of games under their belts. The team consisted of Finley Crowl, Ryan Hodson, Ethan Day, Alfie Howell, Henry Aldred, Rudi Sahota, Josh Kay, Braden Barnacle, Max Waters and Josh Ellis.The whole team showed superb team work, skill and desire to win their games. They played 6 games, drawing 3 and winning 3, which resulted in the team finishing in third place, 1 point of top spot. The team should be immensely proud of their performance, going the whoe tournament unbeaten and only conseeding one goal. They also represented the school in an exemplary mannor and should be proud of their efforts.   

Boys Football Match - White Court vs Great Leighs 

On Wednesday 2nd March White Court hosted two Friendlies against Great Leighs Primary School. The boys football squad was split into two teams for the first matches of the year with both teams raring to go. 

 

Team 1 consisted of;  

Josh Smith, Austin Fairhurst, Henry Aldred, Ryan Hodson, Max Garlick, Rudi Sahota, Alfie Reeve, Henry Blagrove, Oliver Reid and Thomas James. 

 

Team 2 consisted of;

Dexter Bernardo, Noah Murphy, Jo Ogburn, Harry Garlick, Finn Lawford, Ethan Day, Joshua Kay, Matthew McGlone, Harry Cross, Archie Murphy and Jasper Arnold. 

 

Both teams performed at a very high standard, showing great skill, determination and team work through the game. Great Leighs were a tough test but both teams managed to get the win, Team 1 winning 4-1 and Team 2 winning 6-2. The squad should be incredibly proud of themselves and I know that the whole of the school are of them. They represented the school with all the attributes that White Court pupils adhere to - Well done to all of them! 

Level 1 Cross Country Competition

On Monday 28th February, White Court attended the North West Essex School Sports Partnership Level 1 Cross Country Competition at The Tabor College. Teams from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 all participated with incredible determination and perseverance throughout their race, with the Year 3 and 4s running over 1000 metres and the Year 5 and 6s running over 1500 metres. There were 10 schools that took part in the competition, with 50-60 runners in each race. Below are the results for each year group and also the children who qualified individually for the next round by finishing in the top 10.

A huge well done to all the children who participated and good luck to Year 3 Girls, Year 4 Girls and those individuals who have qualified to the next round which will be held at Tabor High School in Braintree on Wednesday 23rd March.
