World Book Day
Thursday 7th March
This week we have celebrated House Week and World Book Day. Each house had an assembly led by their house captain who spoke about the authors. Then Year 1, had an inter-house quiz all about Julia Donaldson books as she is our year group author.
World Book Day
We have been learning about Julia Donaldson and the amazing books she has written. We have made up dances to Room On The Broom and The Smartest Giant in Town. The children completed a Julia Donaldson quiz, drew pictures of our World Book Day costumes and explained why they had chosen them. We also made crafts linked to The Snail and the Whale story.
