Christmas Fun!

Over the past couple of weeks, we have had lots fun completing Christmas activities.

Bears have loved coming in every morning to find out what Twinkleshine Ted has been up to.

We have enjoyed lots of different Christmas Crafts, including: making pasta wreaths, designing our own Christmas cards and making lollipop snowmen.

We wrote letters to Santa in English and enjoyed walking to the post box to post them. We enjoyed looking at the Christmas decorations on the way.

Remembrance Day

This week we have been learning about Remembrance Day. We know that it is on the 11th day of the 11th month at 11am.

We also learn that poppies are worn on Remembrance Day because they are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after the First World War ended.

We created our own poppies in school!

In English, we have been learning about adjectives (describing words). We have looked at the story 'The Wild Things' and used the pictures to write descriptive sentences.
