So what is a Digital Leader? What do they do?

Digital Leaders are children with a passion for technology who want to share their knowledge with others and promote the use of all things digital throughout the school. Being a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility, learn new skills, develop and demonstrate leadership skills. 

Pupils participating in the White Court Digital Leaders Programme are supported in various ways as they set up and support a digital leaders’ team. They do a variety of jobs including:

• Support the use of tablets and computers in school to support learning

• Share their skills and expertise with other pupils, classes and teachers.

• Assist teachers and other pupils in understanding coding applications.

• Set up equipment in classrooms for teachers.
• Lead assemblies to teach other children about using technology.
• Support teachers in using technology in the classroom.
• Have a good understanding of how to stay safe with technology and share that with others.
• Complete a range of termly challenges.
• Provide first line technical support in school.
