19/12 reading with Year Two: over the past two weeks we have been planning and writing 'character flaw' staories that have moral. Today we read them to Robins class from Year Two.
13/12: in Science we have been looking at electrical circuits. Today we used our knowledge of insulators and conductors to make a doormat alarm to stop Burglar Bill!
7/12/23: we had a whole year group dodgeball tournament. Congratulations to the winning team.

29/11: we have been learning about White Court's previous use as an American hospital during WW2. We walked to the monument and then made notes in prepartion of making a 2-page fact file.
20/11: GridServe came to visit to tell us all about sustainable energy and they even brought a Tesla with them!

We learned the words to Flanders Fields by John McCrae and created actions too.
14/11/23: Parent Event - we showcased our recorder playing, "stomp/clap" and disco dances and tested the strength of our Anderson shelters.
Peace Like a River
W/c 6/11: building Anderson shelters
1/11 we used our Geography and History skills to plot cities that were bombed during the Blitz on a map of Britain.
9/10/23: in History we learned how the Allies won the Battle of Britain with the assistance of RADAR. We aimed to recreate this outside using dodgeballs.
3/10 In Maths we played a game that helped us to add and subtract negative numbers.
29/9 In Art we enlarged silhouettes of eagles using the grid method - this helped to keep them in proportion.
22/9/23 First Aid Training: in this session we learned some basic first aid including the primary survey, recovery position and CPR.
