• Year 5 Residential to Flatford Mill

• Remembrance Day

  The children will be taking part in a minute's silence on Thursday 11th November. 

  Poppies are available for the children within each classroom, so please send donations in to the class teacher. 

• Maisie's Garden

  White Court School have created a special memorial garden in memory of Maisie.  Mr Hopgood has led a team to create a space for the children to use, learn, interact with nature or just take a time out. 

  We would like to say a huge thank you to the local companies that offered to donate their time and equipment to transform the area into a place where our children can enjoy spending time.

• £10000 donation from FOWC for IT equipment

  We are delighted to receive a donation of £10000 from FOWC that takes us another step closer to our target of every child having a computer device! We have ordered the first 60 and will be saving a little more to get our next 60 in the Summer! Thank to everyone who supported the FOWC events and helped raise this money. • Safeguarding alert

  Please read the information below received from the Safeguarding Manager for Schools.

   

  I want to make you aware of an incident reported on Tuesday.  A primary school received information from a parent that someone purporting to be a School Nurse contacted them by text to ask questions about their child.  This was reported to the Police and has been confirmed as a hoax.  Virgin Care wish to ensure all schools are aware of this and to provide the following advice to schools to share with parents:

   

  School Nurses do not send text messages as their first contact with parents.

  If you receive a text message requesting information about your child from anyone purporting to be a School Nurse, please DO NOT engage.

  To check the validity of any request received, please contact the Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service Single Point of Access:

• Christmas Jumper Day

  Children and staff are invited to wear a Christmas jumper on Friday 13th December along with their normal school uniform.  Please bring in a donation for Save the Children.
