Autumn 2
Week 6: The children have been so excited to show their Christmas Concert! Some of the children really loved writing silly sentences. The children have loved creating their own Christingle and making their own melting snowman biscuits.
Week 5: This week in Geography, the children have been learning about the 7 Continents and focused on Europe. We have written letters to Father Christmas. They loved writing and creating these. The children have now posted their letters to Father Christmas, thank you to everyone for bringing in stamps!
Week 4: The children have enjoyed listening to Sheena speak about the story of Christmas and the importance of communication.
Week 3: This week in Computing we have learnt how to programme a BeeBot. The children loved this! This week in PE we focused on our movements to explore different weather conditions. We looked at movements that are linked to the wind, such as kite flying, spinning around and throwing leaves in the air and performed to our friends.
Week 2:On Tuesday, we all came into school wearing odd socks, to celebrate Odd Sock Day. By wearing odd socks, we celebrate diversity, acceptance and the inclusion of everyone. The children have also enjoyed experimenting with the instruments. During Art, the children have decorated and created poppies using their fingers, they look amazing! The children loved watching the pantomime of Beauty and the Beast
Week 1- A brilliant first week back! On Tuesday afternoon the children really loved learning about the 7 Continents in Geography. In Tiger Class the children loved PE this week, they had balance cones and move in different ways. Our favourite part was the balancing competition at the end! During Maths this week, we have been learning about subtraction and we have been crossing numbers off to show they have been taken away. We have also used playdough mats and playdough to support our learning. One afternoon the children loved doing the hand print painting for ART, the pictures show how much fun the children had! Well done Tigers.
