The second group are on the coach on their way home, and so ends Flatford 2025. Flatford 2025, forever known as 'The Hot One!'.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the children who attended this week. For some it was with ease, for others more of a challenge. But we are so proud of every single one of you! You approached the week with good humor, an open mind and a 'can do' attitude! It was wonderful to see you care for your friends and help them overcome challenges.
The staff have enjoyed spending time with the children outside of the classroom, in a range of activities we just can't do in school! You've made us laugh with your genuine excitement at finding a spider during 'Hidden Animals' but squealed when finding one in the toilet! You have thrown yourselves into everything (thankfully not the pond) and we hope the memories made stay with you for a very long time!
A huge thank you to all the staff who accompanied the children on the trip, without their generosity of time, trips like these couldn't go ahead. As well as their time, they sacrificed their sleep and energy, thank you all so much! Enjoy the long weekend!
I would also like to single out Miss Lomas for her dedication to The Blog. We hope you enjoyed see the photos and reading about our adventures! Miss Lomas spent a lot of time uploading photos and tracking to make sure everyone had photos, not easy in the middle of nowhere! We hope it brought reassurance to the parents, as we know this is a big step for many of you.
Enjoy the long weekend everyone! A well needed rest for everyone!
