Animals of the rainforest
Today Eden Oasis brought in some fabulous animals from the rainforest. We met a royal python, 4 rats, a bearded dragon, a Cuban false chameleon, a crested gecko, a Chinese water dragon, 2 sugar gliders and a three banded armadillo. Sugar gliders can glide for up to 50 metres, that's half a football pitch! Geckos can choose to disconnect their tail from their body if they are being attacked, their tail will wiggle for 10 minutes, distracting the predator and allowing the gecko to escape. Zebra class were very sensible and treated the animals with respect.
