28th March 2025 - National Skipping Day
As today was National Skipping Day, each year group took it in turns to go outside and enjoy skipping. We tried lots of variations including, one foot, two feet, cross overs, pairs and even group skipping. We really enjoyed it!
Braintree Sings - 26.3.25
Today, some of year 4 had the opportunity to perform at Braintree Sings with 4 other local schools and a live band. We have been working really hard at school to learn the songs and the children sounded absolutely amazing.
Pantomime
We were lucky enough to get to watch a pantomime of Beauty and the Beast. We all loved the singing and dance and thought it was brilliant!
Greek Day
During Greek Day, the children got to experience what life was like during the ancient Greek period. The morning session allowed the children to take part in activities such as soap carving, making wax tablets to write on, making clay offerings for the Gods, making medicines, painting tiles, designing mosaics and crushing olives to make oil for lamps.
In the afternoon, we had a festival of plays, dancing and a feast.
It was a great day!!
