Hunting and Gathering in the Stone Age
In the early Stone Age the people were nomadic and moved from place to place. They hunted wild animals and gathered fruit, nuts, seeds, berries and plants. On Tuesday afternoon we gathered food from around the field and hunted wild animals. If we didn't hit the animal (with a howler or tennis ball - Miss Smithson wouldn't let us use spears and bows and arrows!) within 3 shots then it escaped and we had to try and find another source of food.
