PSHE - First Aid Day
We had a special assembly today all bout First Aid and to celebrate First Aid Day. In class the children learnt all about the importance of first aid and what to do. We discussed who is most important when issuing first aid and how we should always remain clam. The children all know the number 999 to call in case of an emergency. The children had time practicing using bandages, putting plasters on each other. They used doctor’s role play kit on each other and toy telephones to practice dialling 999 and what to say to the operator.
History
For History this week, we talked about changes. The children shared baby photos with each other. They discussed what they could do now that they couldn’t do when they were babies. We absolutely loved seeing these cute, little, lion cub pictures! The children were so excited to share their photos with each other! We then created a timeline in our classroom all about the children: from when the year they were born to starting Lion class this year!
