Week 6: WATER FIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Week 5: We got into character and held a village meeting to debate the proposal to turn the disused gravel pit into a nuclear waste plant. The children acted out their parts brilliantly and voted at the end of the meeting whether they were for or against the notion.
Week 4: During our PRIDE Day the children had a picnic lunch out on the field wearing their rainbow colours. We also completed our activism printing.
Week 3: Bradwell (see the blog to look at what we got up to)
During week 2, the children programmed Microbits. We wrote our names on the LED displays, programmed a beating heart and wrote algorithums for the buttons. It was so much fun. We also had a visitor come to talk to us about the dangers of gambling and online gaming addictions.
In week 1, we looked at the animation Broken about characters made of rock, paper and scissors. In groups, we generated vocabulary linked to each character.
