Summer 2
Week 5, we held our Great Hampton Debate, where we took on the roles of residents in a quaint village. We had to decide, by voting, whether or not the company Getrid should be allowed to purchase a disused gravel pit for chemical waste removal. Some argued for the idea, explaining the possible benefits such as job creation and land use, while others argued against it, raising concerns about environmental damage and safety. Everyone had to give clear reasons to support their side before we voted on the final decision
Week 4, we finished our Print and Activism art.
Week 2, this week we used microbits in computing. We used coding to give instructions to display different images.
Week 1, we presented our presentations; they were all amazing! well done Racoons. We have started our Print an Activism unit in art. We have explored Luba Lukova and Kate Deciccio and will create our own posters.
