In RE this week the children have used scissors to cut and stick the pictures to match the words and focused on the senses used in Hinduism.
Week 4: The children have loved practising their throwing, striking and fielding skills in PE. In RE the children have really enjoyed creating their own shrines. A massive well done to the Tigers who participated in the Charity Mud Run. In Art, the children have been painting their favourite minibeast using watercolours! They have loved this!
Week 3: In PSHE the children have been learning different ways of greeting their friends appropriately. This week in Science we have been looking at different parts of a tree and plant. The children have been so excited to see how their sunflower seeds have started to grow. In Marhs this week, the children have been looking at halves in shapes and object. They have loved doing this practically.
Week 2: In PE the children have been learning and striking and fielding games. They have tried really hard with throwing and catching with their partners. In Music this week the children have started using the boomwhackers to follow along to music. The children had to work together to help each other whack the boom whacking and staying in time with the music.
Week 1: In Art, the children have looked at artists who are inspired by Flora and Fauna and they have created their own drawings of their favourite artists work. As a class we did a walking gallery to share our work and the children loved this. During one of our TOPS times the children loved reading a story outside to one of the teddies in the classroom!
