Week 6, we consolidated our learning about Trade with a Year 6 trade game, children learnt concepts of trade, economics, and global connections through a practical, hands-on activity. In science, we planned and investigated different ways certain activities can affect our heart rate.

Week 5, we used the wall apparatus during gymnastics and performed our shadow puppet art. Really impressed with the shadow puppets - made with precision and care. The shadow puppets were highly effective and racoons worked really well with their groups.
Week 4, during geography we looked at time zones and how many time zones we travel through when visiting other countries.
Week 3, we have started our puppets ready for our puppet show. In science we explored how fossils provide important evidence for evolution and the adaptation of plants and animals to their environments.
Week 2, World Book Day! we all looked fabulous and enjoyed lots of book themed activities.
Week 1, we read our Alma stories to year 5 and added suspense by reading by torch light! During P.E. we continued to practise counter balances in pairs.
