Week 6
We enjoyed planning and carrying out a science investigation today to see how exercise effects our heart rate.
In groups we posed a question, made a prediction and wrote a method before carrying put the investigation outside on the field. Once we had gathered our results, we plotted them on a graph and considered a conclusion and a further question for investigation.

Week 5
We had a musical start to the week, enjoying playing the Boomwhackers during tops time on Monday. We had to listen and follow the notation carefully in order to keep in time with the music!
Then on Tuesday, we composed our own pieces of music to represent the painting 'Fisherman at sea' by Turner.

For World Book Day we completed a range of activities based on our House Author Anthony Horowitz- including Morse code & designing a new gadget for Alex Rider.

Week 1
We had a great start to the week, reading our suspense stories to Meerkat Class in Year 5. We created a spooky atmosphere and read by torchlight. The Year 5 children really enjoyed our stories.
Using Tinkercad we used the 3D shape design tool to create our own keyring designs
