Spring 1

Week 6, during science we completed research on Charles Darwin and completed a practical activity. The activity allowed us to explore beak adaptations in bird populations and looked at the way in which variation in beak shape is related to the available food sources within an environment.

Week 5, we continued to practise our jumps from different heights as we gained confidence and skill. We also read our Text book on WW2 to Year 3, they were quizzed on WW2 facts from what they had learnt.

Week 4, thank you so much to the parents who were able to help out during our DT morning. Your support and effort made a significant difference, and it was very much appreciated by everyone involved. We hope you enjoyed the morning as much as we valued having you there. Here are our final Cam Toys:

Week 3, we continued to practise our shapes, rolls and jumps in P.E.

Week 2, we enjoyed our drama lesson during guided reading, acting out a scene from 'Malamander'. In science we explored inheritance and what are inherited characteristics (passed down from parents) and what things are environmental (acquired).

First week back and raring to go! We went to read our Character Flaw stories to Year 4 which they thoroughly enjoyed.
