Our PE unit this half term has been gymnastics. We have explored rolls, balances and jumps and made sequences of movements using mats and other apparatus.

Week 4
On Tuesday we enjoyed a great morning making our cam toys.
Thank you to those parents who were able to come and help- it was much appreciated!
We used the saws and glue guns safely to create brilliant final cam toys with moving parts.
Week 3
In music this week, Gabby came to play her violin to us. We are learning about the instruments of the orchestra so it was fantastic to hear the violin played live and so brilliantly. Well done Gabby.
We completed stage 1 of our cam toys on Tuesday. They are now painted and with the holes for the axle in place. Watch this space for our finished creations next week.

In History we explored the role of women during World War 2 and how women played a vital role during this time.
In DT we thought about ideas for our CAM toys and designed our final choice. We can't wait to start making them next week.
