Week 1
Forest School
In Forest School this week, we started in the log circle and went through the rules (the most important being to have fun!) then we explored, played, climbed trees, made mud pies, collected apples to feed the queen, found bugs, and more! Our focus this week was Stick Man (by Julia Donaldson) and we made our own stick people, and showed them to each other in the log circle at the end.
Maths
In Maths this week, we were learning to represent numbers in different ways. We chose a number between 1-10 and used Numicon, Dice, Counters on a Tens frame, and Multilink to represent the number in the middle. This is a great activity to do at home with different objects!
