PSHE Event Days
Rainbow Day 2026
As part of our PSHE learning, we celebrated Rainbow Day, a special day dedicated to being proud of who we are and recognising the wonderful diversity within our school community.
This year's theme, "There is no one way to make a family," encouraged children to explore and celebrate the many different types of families that exist. Through discussions and activities, pupils reflected on how every family is unique, and that what matters most is the love, care and support we share with one another.
Children came to school dressed to express themselves in bright, colourful clothing, creating a vibrant celebration of individuality across the school. We ended the day with a whole-school picnic, enjoying time together as a community and celebrating the values of kindness, respect and inclusion.
Rainbow Day was a wonderful opportunity to reinforce the importance of acceptance, celebrating our differences, and recognising that everyone belongs.
