What to do if you see dangerous parking:

As a school, we do not have any jurisdiction or enforcement powers over parking on public highways. Responsibility for parking enforcement in the Braintree area sits with the North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP), which operates on behalf of Braintree District Council and Essex County Council.

If you witness illegal or dangerous parking (for example, vehicles stopping on School Keep Clear zig‑zags, blocking pavements or crossings, or causing an obstruction), this can be reported directly to NEPP using their online enforcement request form: North Essex Parking Partnership – Enforcement Request Form https://north.parkingpartnership.org/enforcement-requests/

This service is designed to help identify recurring parking issues so that Civil Enforcement Officers can target patrols more effectively. Please note that NEPP is not an emergency response service. If there is an immediate risk to safety (for example, a road being completely blocked or a situation putting children at immediate danger), this should be reported to Essex Police via 101, or 999 in an emergency.

While we cannot take enforcement action ourselves, please be assured that we will continue to highlight parking safety concerns and reminders in our weekly school newsletter, and we remain committed to encouraging safe and considerate parking around the school community.
