Read the story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”

(if you don’t have a copy at home, there is an animated version on YouTube)

Talk to your family about which food the Hungry Caterpillar ate on which day of the week.

Set up a model farm or zoo and take it in turns to describe one of the animals but do not say it’s name.

You could say it has 4 legs, a tail and maybe it’s colour

Can you make the sound that your chosen animal might make?

This week our sound is u.  How many things can you find around your house beginning with this sound?

Practise forming the letter
