Thursday 30th April

Hello!

How are you all?  It has been lovely to speak to some of you this week (I still have a few children that I need to call back) and you all sound like you're doing well without us! Thank you to those of you who have put your learning on Twitter or sent it to the home learning email address.  It is great to see what you've been up to!  I've seen some super posters from Lexie, Harry and Leo, some marvellous magic from George and Nevaeh.  I am very envious of all the baking you have been doing and am sad that I can't taste it!  Thank you Lexie for your fabulous story about the dark forest, I was a little scared reading it!

Yesterday my girls decided that they were going to make dinner for everyone.  I'll be honest, I was a little worried about what they were going to make and what state the kitchen would be in afterwards but it wasn't too bad.  they made Canadian pasties from a children's cookbook and they were delicious!

Martha decided we needed a starter so chopped some cucumber and carrots to dip in houmous.

Natasha was very pleased with her finished pasty!

We also played walking bingo.  We each wrote down some things that we thought we might see on our walk and then went out, ticking them off as we saw them.  Hint:  If you're going to play this, make sure you put things that you're likely to see like a red door, a cat, a for sale sign, a person on a bike.  Natasha had 'open top bus' on hers so she didn't win!

Take care of yourselves and each other.
