I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We decorated our house with red, white and blue bunting for VE day. We didn’t have any bunting so we made our own with socks - they were clean!
We also a social distancing street party with our neighbours. We made cakes and had drinks and snacks in our front garden.
I’m a little bit disappointed that Boris Johnson announced that we have to stay apart for at least the next few weeks but I understand that it is important to keep everyone safe. I’m really missing my mum and dad and my sister and her family. We had a zoom quiz last week which was really good, although it did take us ages to talk my mum through how to get onto zoom! I think all of us have become more confident with technology since we’ve had to use it so much!
Thank you for your competition entries, they are fantastic, keep them coming in.
It was lovely to speak to some of you today. Miss Swan and I will be phoning you all throughout the week to hear how you’re getting on and what you’ve been up to – we miss the little conversations we have with you at school!
I’m glad that some of you are doing the acronym quiz on the Home Learning page. I’m doing a quiz on Thursday with Mrs Scrivener, Mrs Stock, Mrs Greely and Mrs Collins and I’ve made an acronym round for that so thought I’d make one for you guys too! Imogen thinks that Mrs Scrivener will win our one, I’ll let you know!!
Enjoy yourselves and be kind to each other.
