As a school, we have signed up to Google Classroom. Google Classroom is an online platform that acts as a virtual classroom; it enables teachers to share work and communicate with the children. Over the last few weeks, your child will have been learning how to use Google Classroom in school and will have been given their username and password to log in. We have also created the attached guide to help you navigate around Google Classroom and become familiar with some of its key features. Google Classroom can be accessed from any device with an internet connection: smart phones, tablets, laptops, desktops and smart TVs. If your child's bubble is required to switch to Home Learning, the class teacher will be using this as the main platform to hold class video calls and to display the work set for the week.
Dear Parents and Carers
On Monday 16th November we will be having an ‘Odd Sock Day.’
What is an Odd Socks day we hear you say?
Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique! It is the first day of Anti-Bullying Week which runs from Monday 16th November to Friday 20th November.
All your child needs to do to take part is wear odd socks for the day. Each year group will be completing different activities based on their odd socks as well as watch a video and assembly about celebrating differences.
For more information, please see the attached poster. We can’t wait to see all the odd socks on Monday 16th November! Mrs Ball and Mrs Duhig
