We are continuing with our story of the Gruffalo this week in Literacy! Can you remember all of our story and the actions we have been learning? Have a practice with Miss Parish below!

The Gruffalo stories and actions

Today we would like you to make some puppets of the different characters in the story!

Think carefully about what characters you will need to draw.

You could pop your drawn characters onto lolly pop sticks or you could add a strip to make a ring so they sit on your finger.

You might even like to make a little stage for them to perform on.

Once you have got your character's ready can you retell the story to a member of your family using the finger puppets?

Today we are thinking about the foods that Dinosaurs eat!

Lots of you were very excited to tell us last week that some dinosaurs ate other dinosaurs!

Have a look at these fact cards about the different dinosaurs! Can you have a go at saying their different names and find our whether they eat plants, meat or both?

As you read through each fact card can you find that Dinosaur on our worksheet? Cut them out and stick them onto the right section of the Venn Diagram- meat, plant or both!

If you have enjoyed today's lesson you might like to complete this dinosaur pattern tracing activity!
