This week in Literacy we are going to be combining our literacy skills with our Computing practice! Today’s activity is to explore the learning platform Purple Mash - if you have siblings you may know a little about this platform already. There are lots of different areas for you to explore with a range of games and activities to complete! There is an explanation video of how to log onto Purple Mash on Tapestry :)
Challenge: we would love to see the activity you have completed can you save your work to purple mash for us to view? Or can you take a photo of the work you have completed and upload to Tapestry?

Handwriting
Our focus letter this week is ‘r’ can you practise writing your neatest ‘r’s’ in your salt, sugar or flour? We would love to see your best attempts!

Maths
This week we are learning positional language.
Enjoy learning the nursery rhyme 5 speckled frogs and discuss the positional language.
Activity - using the frog puppets below or an object from your house - play a game of positional hide and seek. Hide the puppets/objects around your home - give someone clues on how to find it! (the frog is on top on a cupboard, under a chair, above the window, in-between the book shelf).
